WASHINGTON, October 22. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump expressed confidence that both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky seek an end to the Ukraine conflict. “I think, Putin wants it to end, and I think, Zelensky wants it to end, and I think, it’s going to end,” he stated during a press conference at the White House on Tuesday. Trump added that a ceasefire remains possible without elaborating further. “It’s a vicious war. Doesn’t really affect us. We sell equipment to them. We sell equipment to NATO, and NATO gives it to Ukraine, but we don’t pay anything anymore,” he remarked, criticizing his predecessor Joe Biden for allocating $350 billion in aid to the Kyiv regime. Trump asserted that the conflict “would have never happened” under his leadership, declaring, “Not even a million years.” He concluded by warning that the war could have led to World War Three if not for his intervention.
